The thing about it is Ableton is keeping the audio in sync but its just making the issue worse. Does anybody use iZotope plug-ins and have experienced this latency. I deleted both plug-ins zero latency (midi keyboard going into reason and sound being heard). I should probably mention at this point that I am Rewiring Reason into Ableton with this session. Well what do you know midi track takes about a second and a half to trigger the sample. Ended up getting inspired by the kick sound and decided to add some extra pads. Was looking to beef the kick up from the project and seeing if ozone 7 would help with that (did nicely). The kick track has ozone on it and the master has ozone on it they are the only two plug-ins being used in the set. Downloaded iZotope Ozone 7 trial and was tweaking a drum track from a half finished song. I tired to change the HW buffer size but it does not help plus the latency heard is much larger than the latency of the interface (97.3ms overall) it is not a HW thing because other projects do not have the same latency. When I say delay I mean latency because when I press play on the drum sample itself there is latency from when I press to it being heard. I can not understand how it is being delayed so much. I have the drum routed to a separate track pre fx. Is there any way to export the selected sample so I can import it back onto the drum track. It is a noticeable delay I would say about 600-700ms. The sample is from a large wav file about 2 minutes long but I have the drum racks crop points around a single drum hit from the file. I tried to reproduce it another project but could not so I am thinking it might be related to how fast the disc is reading the file the kick drum sample is on. So I'm getting this really strange delay when I hit spacebar to play this project.
